Artist in the Family

A few weeks ago Mckenna entered the Reflections Contest (art contest at school). Two of her art pieces were chosen to move on to district (the next level). YEA!!! Maria helped her do an oil painting and then she sculpted an ocean scene for her 3-D art. She is a very talented little artist. (must come from her talented aunt maria and uncle travis). Below are a few of the pictures from the awards ceremony.

We found out last night that both of her pieces have been chosen to move on to region (the next level). YEA!! YEA!! Way to Go Mckenna!!

Cherished Moments

It's that time of year.....

Mckenna experienced her first event in the Conference Center and was so excited to be able to see the Prophet at the First Presidency Christmas Devotional. What a special evening. Grandma and Grandpa J got us tickets. It is one of the perks of having parents serving a mission for Public Affairs in the Church. We took the long way back to the car and walked through the lights on Temple Square. I love having Mckenna old enough to do these fun things now.







AND NOT SO CHERISHED MOMENTS

Kaden learned how to climb out of his play and pack.....so he is now officially sleeping in his toddler bed. I wasn't ready for this....but he was. We cleared his room of everything but his bed and toy box so he would not try to climb anything in the night (he climbed his dresser the other day and it tipped over). He is ALL BOY!
