Last night the YM/YW trick or treated the neighborhood for their activity.....the kids got dressed up to answer the door. Kenna didn't want to ware her "real" costume until Halloween...so we'll keep you in suspense for that one! Obviously Kaden loved being yoda...or maybe he loved the sword more. He was chasing us all over the house. We had a fun night...anticipating the trick or treaters. Something the kids don't usually get to do because they are out trick or treating themselves.

BOO-tiful Girls

In the holiday spirit! At least for their clothes. I haven't decorated around the house much...or at all to be real honest. Mckenna keeps asking when I am going to do that! Yea....probably not going to happen this year!

Picking Pumpkins

We had a fun day picking pumpkins with Mia's preschool class. Mckenna was sad that she was going to miss out on the adventure so Mia told her she would pick her a pumpkin. And that's just what Mia did - of course Mia picked the biggest pumpkin for herself and picked a smaller one for Mckenna. That didn't go over too well and needless to say we found ourselves going to pick Mckenna her own pumpkin. All are happy now!

One Step Ahead

CAUGHT IN THE ACT

Kaden is always one step a head of us. The other day I removed all stepping stools from our home and put them in the garage because Kaden uses them to get into too many things. Just as I was thinking he was safe - I found him on the bathroom counter playing in the water.....he had climbed up on the toilet and then onto the counter and there proceeded to have a marvelous time. So now we are keeping all bathroom doors shut - the very next day I found him on the kitchen counter playing in the kitchen sink water. He had pushed a chair over from the table. I think I will have to use Lori's idea of tying the chairs to the table.....sounds so absurd...but whatever works!
